Although growth is one of the main election topics this year, the effects of uncontrolled growth in the guise of illegal rooming houses has not been entirely absorbed by some of the candidates. Over the past several months, I have presented information from the candidates and our citizenry on this issue so that you may consider their responses as you vote. I am not endorsing any candidates as I want this blog to remain solely informational on the question of unplanned infill due to non-enforcement of the single family zoning laws. Nor is the proliferation of illegal rooming houses the sole question of importance in the election. Nonetheless, we cannot speak of managing growth and preserving the character of our neighborhoods without resolving the issue.

I encourage you to fill out your ballots today!
